Are You about Your Father's Business? After we surrender our life to Christ we become God's Children. We are grafted into a new heavenly family and we now have the right to call Jesus' Father our Father! Wow that's mind blowing in itself but there is more to it than just that. We can now move forward in the confidence and steadfastness of our Heaven Father's love. Through the Holy Spirit our hearts will slowly start to change the more this reality sets in. Because all good children naturally want to please their fathers, we all will eventfully ask "What is Your will for me, Father?" I believe with all my heart we are to be about "the Father's business"as long as we are here on this earth. But what exactly is that business? Leading others to Jesus! We all can accomplish this in different degrees and in different ways... How we live before others, a word of encouragement, giving to a need, preaching, singing, saying a prayer for someone or maybe sharing a testimony. We need to be active servants of God, vessels for His Work. Let's start acting like our Savior Jesus and share the gospel with others! Luke 2:49 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
